SwipeThread is operated by Modlific LLC, a Utah limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service. By using SwipeThread, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account.
  • Google account data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
  • Content you create — carousels, posts, brand guides, and products you create within the app.
  • Social profile data — display name, handle, and avatar you provide for carousel styling (e.g., Twitter thread format).
  • Uploaded images — logos, avatars, and product images you upload, which are stored on Vercel Blob.
  • Usage data — basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve SwipeThread
  • To generate AI-powered carousel content using your prompts and brand settings
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
  • To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, team invites)
  • To monitor usage for security, abuse prevention, and credit billing
  • To display community-shared posts (only when you explicitly share)

4. AI Processing

When you create content, your prompts are sent to AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenRouter) to generate text and images. AI-generated images are stored on Vercel Blob. Your prompts may be used by AI providers according to their own privacy policies. We do not use your content to train our own AI models.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel — hosting, serverless functions, and blob storage
  • Neon — PostgreSQL database
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • SendGrid — transactional email delivery
  • Google (Gemini) — AI text and image generation
  • OpenRouter — AI chat model routing
  • Google Analytics — anonymized usage analytics

6. Data Retention

Your account data and content are retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days. Generated images stored on Vercel Blob are deleted along with the associated posts.

7. Community Content

If you share a post to the community, the carousel content, your display name, and avatar become publicly visible. You can unpublish community posts at any time from your post editor.

8. Team Accounts

If you join a team, your name, email, and avatar are visible to other team members. Brand guides, products, and credits are shared across the team. The team owner manages billing and can remove members.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We use Google Analytics for anonymized usage tracking, which may set its own cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information via your account settings
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your content (PDF, PNG, ZIP exports)
  • Opt out of non-essential emails

11. Children's Privacy

SwipeThread is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use ofSwipeThread after changes constitutes acceptance.
