Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SwipeThread (“the Service”), operated by Modlific LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SwipeThread is an AI-powered social content studio that helps users create branded carousels, posts, and threads for social media platforms. The Service includes AI text generation, content research, slide layout and typesetting, brand management, team collaboration, and content export features.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • One person may not maintain multiple free accounts.

4. Usage and Billing

  • SwipeThread meters one thing: the number of carousels you create. Research, brand guides, layout, and export are included in that.
  • Free accounts create up to 3 carousels a day. Paid plans (Creator, Studio) allow more.
  • The allowance is a rolling 24 hours. Each carousel you create becomes available again 24 hours later. Unused allowance does not accumulate.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
  • Paid plans available to first-time subscribers begin with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically at the plan price shown at checkout and renews on that cycle until cancelled. Cancel at any point during the trial and you are not charged.
  • Studio (team) plans are billed at one flat plan price. Every member shares the plan’s allowance, and adding or removing team members does not change what you pay.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues through the end of the billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@swipethread.com.

5. Content Ownership

  • Your content is yours. You retain all rights to the text, prompts, and creative direction you provide.
  • AI-generated images and text produced by the Service are licensed to you for commercial and personal use.
  • You may not claim AI-generated outputs as solely human-created if disclosure is required by applicable law or platform policy.
  • When you create a share link for a carousel, you grant SwipeThread a non-exclusive license to display it to anyone holding that link. You can revoke a share link at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
  • Impersonate real people without their consent (e.g., fake tweets attributed to others)
  • Generate spam, misleading content, or content designed to manipulate platform algorithms
  • Violate any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI systems
  • Circumvent usage limits or watermarks
  • Share account credentials or resell access to the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Team Accounts

  • The team owner is responsible for billing and managing team members.
  • Team members share brand guides and products. Each member has their own carousel allowance; there is no pooled balance.
  • Posts created by team members belong to the individual user, not the team.
  • Removing a team member revokes their access to shared team resources.

8. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by the Service is produced by third-party AI models (Google Gemini). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or biases. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before publishing. SwipeThread is not liable for damages arising from AI-generated content.

9. Watermarks

Images generated on the free plan include a SwipeThread watermark. Paid plans (Creator and Studio) remove the watermark. Tampering with or removing watermarks from free-tier images is prohibited.

10. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid subscriptions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modlific LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modlific LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
